This one-of-a-kind artwork is a visual reminder that the creative process, like life, isn’t always linear. “Trust Your Path” is a 9x12” mixed media piece on paper, rich with layered textures, intuitive movement, and a story of surrender.
This piece emerged in two distinct stages. At first, I followed my usual drawing routine, but something felt off, forced. I paused, took a breath, and began again. This time, I let the energy move through me freely. What poured out felt fluid and wave-like, filled with motion and emotion.
Later, after a quiet walk by the river, I returned to the studio. Something called me to revisit the discarded first piece, not to erase it, but to honor it. I tore a section from that original attempt and collaged it into the new painting, blending the past with the present. A few more paint strokes followed, and suddenly, the piece felt complete. Whole. Alive.
The transformation mirrored the oracle card I pulled that morning: “Trust Your Path.” This artwork embodies that message—reminding you that even the detours are sacred. Every step, even the ones that feel uncertain, is part of the magic.
